OUR COMMITTEES

The SCMGMA maintains several volunteer committees that assist in the governance of the association as well as provide valuable information to members.

Bylaws Committee

Develops amendments to the SCMGMA bylaws; reviews chapter bylaws to ensure compliance with state bylaws and presents proposed amendments to general membership for voting.

Conference Committee

Plans, coordinates and implements the annual conference.

ACMPE

Promotes the educational goals of SCMGMA; assists chapters in the development of educational activities.
Chair: Hannah Powell MBA CMPE

Executive Committee

Conducts the necessary business of the association and communicates that information to the Board of Governors.
Chair: Renee Alexander MHRD

Membership Committee

Develops and maintains a member recruitment plan for dissemination to local chapters. Supports chapter leaders in membership issues and encourages the development of new chapters within the state.

Corporate Membership Committee

Recruits and develops corporate members. Organizes and supports corporate members and exhibitors at annual conference.

Nominating Committee

Solicits, screens and verifies the eligibility of nominees for state board offices. Presents a slate of officers to the general membership at the annual business meeting for their vote.
